Description
This Performance Engineer will be part of a performance engineering team, working with other performance engineers with focus on server application performance. Work on multiple projects and help in performance tuning of software applications. Tasks will include design review, code review, performance analysis, performance test, load/stress test and maintain the environment for performance testing. They will create, review, update and execute LoadRunner scripts. The PE Engineer will write and maintain tools in JAVA and J2EE (coding experience) to analyze and identify the inefficiencies in the application. Additionally they will deploy/installing J2EE applications on multiple platforms and make configuration changes using the WAS Admin console.
Main focus is someone with LoadRunner (or similar tool) experience. However the candidate should also have experience with WebSphere and MQ, preferably with knowledge of the WAS Admin console and MQ queue setup. Additionally they should have worked with some Java code performance tool like JProbe.
