Senior PHP Developer - 6 months + Contract - Remote/Basingstoke

ESSENTIAL:- PHP 7.3, Wordpress/Woocommerce, GIT, Jira. Agile/Scrum. Front End. Articulate and thorough.

Senior PHP Developer to have a solid E-commerce background, mainly Front End development, any multiple languages will be a bonus but not essential, to ensure that sites can be global. Click on, Plug in Development, configure sites, customise sites.

Role on a manual system of which client is currently building an automated system.

Within the role, there is also scope to develop and take ownership of exciting new solutions.
Presented with the business problem this person should be capable of providing solutions which are technically fit for purpose, whilst meeting the commercial, marketing design standards required by the marketing and sales departments.
Senior PHP Developer, areas to be included will be

• Ability to self-manage
• Ability to structure development work to hit deadlines
• Leverage design tools to manage and create as required
• Build and maintain site change control process to meet the commercial needs of launch dates
• Use and implementation of secure environments
• Integration of payment engines
• Implementation of data transfer

Whilst working as part of a small team tasked with will be developing solutions which integrate with both in-house and external systems and for a variety of audiences, including Customer Service Teams, Businesses and Consumers.

This will include

• Gaining knowledge of the Legacy systems and processes.
• Working with the Web Commercial Management and Marketing teams to drive incremental revenue contribution from the web from our manufacturers and suppliers.
• Working with Web Commercial Management to provide bespoke solutions for clients.

Senior PHP Developer Personal Skills:

We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude that is able and comfortable at working with both technical and sales/marketing people alike.
The individual will have experience of commercial web-based solutions. Hand-coding development experience of eCommerce platforms is valued more than one's ability.
