Description
Classical robotics is colliding with AI and robot learning and the engineers who can bridge both are in short supply.
We're building out THRYVE's specialist network of Staff-level Robotics Engineers across the DACH region working at this intersection: ROS/ROS2, C++/Python, robot learning, simulation-to-real transfer, and production-grade robotics software.
We've already built a strong client base on the permanent side, recently delivering 10 specialist robotics hires in 4 months for a Series C robotics scale-up, supporting the launch of a humanoid robot programme. We're now seeing the same companies need short-term freelance support to hit delivery milestones while they scale their permanent teams, so we're mapping out who's active.
What we are looking for:
- You operate at Staff/Principal level as a highly technical individual contributor
- You're hands-on in C++, Python and ROS/ROS2
- You've got exposure to, or a genuine interest in, the AI/robot-learning side of robotics not just classical controls
