Overall Experience:

  • 5 years of Point of Sale/IT. Project Coordination and project management.
  • Point of sale application support and deployment experience, Restaurant Management and Business Operations
  • Broad understanding of Network and Internet technology
  • Extensive Business Professional Skill Set Presentation ability.
  • Experienced trainer for direct sales teams, agent partners, and customers on various IT. technologies and Point of Sale software packages.
  • Ability to explain complex software and technology solutions across all levels of an organization, including to C-Level Executives.
  • Proficient in planning, strategy, and implementation.
  • Comprehensive experience with PC s, LAN s, applications and technical services.

Manager Notes:

  • Long-term for 12months +, weekend on call for escalation. POS Focus and Aloha would be great since we are moving from Focus to Aloha and this person is supporting the implementation/conversion.
  • Helpful if they have done a POS implementation or migration.
  • Build databases.
  • Set up menu items.
  • Aloha POS QSR/KDS, front of house.
  • Work with POS implementation vendor.
  • Kitchen system/Restaurant technology
  • Proof and testing system.
  • Push out to venues.
  • Routing of kitchen system for QSR.
  • Set up routing for POS kitchen stations.
  • Bar is part of the kitchen set up.
  • Handles escalations.
  • Set up Tax rates.

Job Description:

Client is seeking an analytical leader to translate business needs into technology solutions that enable premier Guest experiences. The purpose of the Senior Analyst role is to define requirements for technology solutions through analysis of business problems and end-user needs. The focus of the role is to elicit and manage the real needs of internal partners and end users, with the Analyst serving as the conduit for requirements to our technical team. An Analyst is involved at some level throughout the entire project life cycle, from requirements baseline through verification of fulfillment. The role is familiar with all aspects of the function, the functional lead on our you-centric Career Map - it's all about growth! This team leader is assigned our most complex work and is expected to lead efforts across teams as necessary to fulfil scope. This individual mentors and directs more junior team members, and may have direct supervisor responsibility for a small team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Elicit, validate, and document requirements for technology changes.
  • Responsible for the decomposition of high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements and quality attributes.
  • Evaluation of current systems and processes to determine required changes.
  • Benchmarks process and best practices.
  • Formulate and present recommendations, including relevant business processes.
  • Define and/or develop relevant business processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for multiple applications and/or business processes.
  • Advise and mentor more junior team members.
  • Interview new team member candidates. Weed out the weak and hire the best via mortal combat, or whatever mildly more appropriate means are available to you at the time.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years' experience
  • Proven ability to influence and lead others in a multi-team environment
