We are actively seeking a PowerBI Expert – Community Lead to enhance our Data Management team's capabilities. This role is essential in steering PowerBI initiatives, fostering a culture of best practices, and serving as a central figure in our PowerBI community, with a focus on collaboration across various departments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Map, document, and evolve the reporting and dashboard requirements across multiple departments.
- Lead the strategic migration from current systems to innovative architectures, acting as the primary interface between Business and IT.
- Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of PowerBI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and fulfill data analysis and visualization needs.
- Facilitate data transformation and modeling, translating raw data into insightful information.
- Advise on the maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of PowerBI reports and dashboards.
- Deliver training and support to users, focusing on maximizing the utility of PowerBI.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- Over 10 years of experience in BI and reporting, with a leadership background in development or team coordination.
- Expertise in PowerBI, including deep knowledge of DAX, DataFlows, and PowerBI-related technologies.
- Strong understanding of Azure Enterprise BI Solution Architecture, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other relevant services.
- Proven ability to develop migration plans and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and toolsets like Confluence.
- **Added Value Skills:**
- Experience with SAP BW/BW4 environments.
- Familiarity with various analysis techniques and scenario development.
- **General Skills:**
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and possessing a keen sense for precision.
- Proactive, strong in problem-solving, practical, and organized.
- **Language Requirements:**
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
**Work Mode:** Hybrid (Minimum 2 days/week onsite in Brussels)
