Process Analyst - Corporate Tax

My client is a leading household retailer, currently undergoing a Finance Transformation programme which is seen as the largest programme of it's kind in UK Retail history. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Process Analyst to work as part of the Tax Workstream

The Process Analyst will be responsible for documenting, analysing and supporting the global business process design (and localisation where required) with a specific focus on process mapping and the production of Standard Operating Procedures for Tax, as well as assisting with the preparation of testing and training.

Key responsibilities

As a Process Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Documenting to-be business processes (process maps and SOPs) and recognising their interdependencies with other workstreams whilst ensuring they adhere to the quality standards set by the Functional Process workstream
  • Support Functional Process Leads to document process outcomes where key design decisions are made, particularly identified during design workshops
  • Gathering requirements from subject matter experts across the Group and communicating them to the relevant workstreams
  • Work with other stakeholders within the Finance Transformation programme to develop Testing and Training deliverables to ensure successful transition to the to-be business processes

Skills and Experience Required:

  • fully qualified accountant with a background in Corporate Tax
  • Proficient in the use of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting and process diagramming
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to operate successfully in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of organizational change management, transformation, facilitative leadership, and project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate (written and verbal), influence and work effectively with a broad cross section of functional areas
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
  • Good understanding of UK & International Finance regulations
  • Experience of working across multiple locations, business functions and cultures
  • Working in large systems implementations
  • Understanding of Finance Systems
  • ARIS process architecture tool
  • Oracle Fusion, HFM, HTP, TRCS experience
