Define the requirements engineering process within the framework of processes like Product Generation Process (PGP) and V-model in such a way that the process contribution to the business drivers becomes recognizable.
Actively promotes the requirements engineering way of working in their projects.
Job Description
* Take the lead in structuring the requirements engineering process and associated way of working including:
o Definition of the requirements engineering process,
o Definition of the requirements engineering roadmap,
o Definition of interfaces between the requirements engineering process and other business processes, such as risk management, change management, verification and validation.
o Definition and development of a tool-box for architects that supports the requirements engineering process
* Define improvement areas in the requirements engineering process
* Define metrics for the requirements engineering process
* Advice management on roadmap and improvement projects on requirements engineering
* Supports and coaches improvement projects in the area of requirements engineering
* Facilitate workshops to deploy the way of working in development projects
Main responsibilities
* Responsible for development of the requirements engineering process and associated roadmap
* Ensure a coherent and consistent process architecture for requirements engineering
* Responsible for keeping documents of RE process (eg training materials, guidelines, templates, etc.) and accompanying publication environment up-to-date.
* Facilitation of the reference team of Architects
Education
A masters in an engineering discipline is required, PhD degree is a pre.
Experience
* Proven track record in the requirements engineering process definition and improvements projects in multidisciplinary industrial environment
* Knowledge of and experience with requirements engineering standards (eg IREB)
* Knowledge of and experience in systems engineering (10 years)
* Over 5 years' experience in process analysis and management
* Knowledge of and experience with Change Management
* Experience in giving training and facilitation of workshops
* Experience in requirements management tooling is a pre
Personal skills
* Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude.
* Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch preferable.
* Able to keep a "helicopter" - view and dive into process details at the same time
* Team player
* Good facilitator
* High self-confidence level
