Title: Process Engineer - Process & CAPEX ProjectsLocation: Hamburg, Germany

Type: Contract / Freelance (9 months)
The primary responsibility of the Process & CAPEX Projects group is to support the Production department internally by providing technical services and assisting the Engineering department in carrying out its duties. In this way, lifecycle management and preserving the production facilities' legally mandated and GMP-compliant status are the main priorities. This covers second level support for daily operations as well as project work and project management duties for CAPEX projects.

Your Responsibilities:
Tasks in the area of process engineering
Lifecycle management of process plants
Driving and supporting continuous improvement processes
Ensuring plant safety and GMP-compliant operation of the process plants, especially in the case of changes to existing plants and new installations
Creation and review of design and qualification documents
Carrying out or supporting commissioning and qualification activities for process plants
Definition and implementation of CAPAs
Support as a technical expert in the event of deviations
Procurement, management and updating of technical documentation
Controlling and monitoring the project phases in accordance with scheduling, economic and contractual project objectives
Your Requirements:
University degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Process engineering
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German
5+ years experience in pharmaceutical industry
Excellent expertise of cGMP operations
Strong understanding of engineering and project management techniques
Has a great technical understanding of a broad set of industrial systems, and their maintenance requirements
