Process Quality Engineer

My Client is looking for a Process Quality Engineer to join the team in Rugby for an initial 6-month contract. This person will be responsible for QMS compliance/execution of quality on the shop floor including trending of metrics to identify CAPA and CI projects.
In addition, you will:
- Develop, deploy and monitor metrics jointly with Quality Leader to drive manufacturing improvements in the area.
- Ensure a systematic means of collecting, analysing and distributing compiled metrics/information in order to improve quality
- Participate actively to the development and implementation of the local quality culture plan
- Lead, develop, coach factory staff on key competencies according to needs
- Ownership for internal NCA/RCA and CAPA plan development and implementation
- Maintain Gensuite quality modules in co-ordination with team members
- Ownership for implementation of improvement actions resulting from quality plans and customer feedback through continuous improvement
- Overall responsibility for Internal Audit execution, for conformance to quality plans, systems and requirements as per the Internal Audit Plan
- Calibration gatekeeper for all Measurement Tools & Equipment
- Support customer meetings when required
- Support Q-framework, QMS and ISO audits as required
- Co-ordinate quality review meetings
- Support regulatory compliance and optimisation of quality systems procedures
- Work with CI team to drive sustainable process changes
- Support RCA's and CAPA plans for external defects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Engineer Degree or suitable practical experience
- Proven expertise in customer resolution and preventive tools, ISO knowledge
- Inclusive leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to self-direct within defined responsibilities
- Knowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods
