Description
Our Local Government client based in Surrey are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to come on board for an initial 6month period to undertake a number of key activities within the Adult Social Care and Public Health Category.
We require an individual who is able to operate at both a strategic and operational level, ideally with a good knowledge of health and social care within the public sector.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6months
Rate: 20.41 per hour
Location: Surrey
Working with the Adult Social Care and Public Health directorate requires close working with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to identify and evaluate new ways of delivering requirements in the long term.
The individual will be required to support a variety of procurements, contract management activity and contract re-negotiations. Projects are often complex with short deadlines. We require someone who has the ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and is focused on their customers.
The successful candidate must have great communication skills, good stakeholder management, strong commercial understanding, and a focus on delivery.
