Description
Project Controls Lead Specialist required for exciting pharmaceutical expansion project in Scotland. This multinational pharmaceutical organisation has a �£25m expansion program at their API manufacturing facility.Reporting in to the Program Director you will be responsible for managing the interface for Project Controls activities, setting up, monitoring and appraising the financial and schedule performance of the project.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Typical duties include: planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members.
-Developing measurable project goals and objectives and monitoring the progress.
-You will also be preparing agendas for meetings, document key decisions. You will also be writing and disseminate work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports and presentations.
-Liaison with alliance partnership and 3rd party suppliers / contract organisations.
-Cost estimation; claim management; forecasting
-People Management - driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
-The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on time deliver.
Skills/experience required:
-Degree qualified
-Extensive experience of setting up and managing project controls office
-Extensive project controls experience gained working within a pharmaceutical/Biotechnology organisation
-Expertise in both planning / scheduling but also cost estimation, forecasting and claim management
-Must be able to demonstrate international, cross-functional leadership experience
