The Project Manager will be responsible for detailed tracking and coordination of project inputs, scheduling and resource constraints, project timelines and project-level communications for high impact major Wireless Data Development and Deployment projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Help manage the War Rooms and produce daily status reports/statistics.
  • Will use the NPMO management process and best practice guideline (PM Toolkit) to manage and produce deliverables to support the projects on a daily basis.
  • Develop detailed work breakdown structures for each stage.
  • Prepare project schedules using network scheduling techniques and constraint optimization (PERT/CPM).
  • Provide scheduling and capacity recommendations to Program Manager.
  • Identify and report on risks and jeopardies.
  • Ensure that critical dates are established and managed effectively.
  • Hold regularly scheduled meetings with the project team to provide steering and identify latest status. Ad hoc meetings will also be required as needed to support overall project objectives.
  • Ultimately be responsible for all tasks that are necessary to support the project and have responsibility for insuring appropriate project team members perform and complete those activities.
  • Status reports on the projects will be produced in a predefined format weekly and submitted to Project Team and Growth Program Manager and process distribution lists. This will represent the weekly snapshot/progress status report for each project.
  • Executive presentations will be created on an as needed basis at the request of upper management.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a PMP.
  • MS Excel expert required.
  • Excellent written communication skills necessary.
  • Experience in Network Project Management required.
