Project Manager - Account Switching - Halifax - £396 per day
Our client, a leading European Bank is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis to work on the Implementation of a 7 day switching proposition. This will provide a current account redirection service to smooth the process of switching current accounts for individuals and small businesses whilst increasing competition. Providing this service will become a mandatory requirement for all Payment Council members who offer current accounts. ICB has committed to making changes by 2013, with incremental changes being made in advance of this date
Purpose of Role
This is for an experienced implementation focused project manager to support the Lead Implementation Manager with the Retail Industry Account Switching.
Responsibilities include -
- To define and shape the Retail Wellness checks required
- Develop a wellness framework for Retail
- Programme to ensure understanding and adoption
- To define the process to support wellness execution
- Ensure all required test cases/scenarios are established and set up
- Coordinate with Live and Usability to ensure all required customer tests are set up in sufficient time for pilot/dress rehearsals/go live
- To oversee and coordinate actual wellness test execution
- Project manage implementation workstreams as required and called upon
Core Skills and Experience
- Strong previous Project Management skills within a Business Change setting
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage teams & stakeholders
- Strong delivery experience
- Experience within Banking Operational areas/Operational Strategy
To be considered you will be an experienced Project Manager who has project delivery experience within financial services. Ideally you will have worked on a regulatory change the bank' project. This is very much a business change project and not technical in focus.
