Project Manager - Insurance - Savings & Retirement - 6 months - Edinburgh - £259/day

A top retail bank based in Edinburgh is currently seeking a Project Manager to join a Savings & Retirement programme for an initial 6 month period.

Overview of the Programme/Project

The programme is a series of deliveries that will enhance our ability to meet customer long term savings and retirements needs while supporting near term trading and providing customer insights to shape strategic delivery. The FP&R Accelerators programme is located in Orchard Brae - with a co-located team working in an agile way, where appropriate, to improve the quality of deliverables and increase speed of delivery.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Project Manager will - engage with key stakeholders/suppliers across Insurance Division and the wider Group; develop an integrated plan covering deliverables, internal and external suppliers, business workstreams and IT; manage the delivery in alignment with the client's methodology, using standard PM strategies such as Matrix engagement, structured RAID and planning reviews and project financials; report on progress and work with the Programme Manager and AE to drive the project forwards; engage a number of senior stakeholders to executive level, including FP&R and Distribution Directors

Essential Skills and Experience

Project Management experience to include - Planning, MSP, CMT; Progress Tracking and Reporting; Stakeholder Management; Matrix Management; Resource & Budget Tracking; structured methodology experience

Desirable Skills and Experience

Essential Business Domain Experience - Knowledge of Life & Pensions Products; knowledge of Retirement Account and Retirement Hub

Digital delivery experience
