Role: Senior AI Engineer
Hiring mode: Freelance/Employment contract for 1 year
Working mode: 100% Remote
Language: English and German(Good to have)
Job Description:
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
- Developed production grade agents using Microsoft Agent Framework and AI Foundry
- Experienced in RAG based retrieval using Azure AI Search
- Observability and Monitoring using Microsoft Agent 365
- Cross-Cloud platform data access using MCP
Good-to-Have
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric IQ
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1. Development and Deployment of production grade Knowledge Agent using Microsoft Agent Framework, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search
2. Cross-cloud (AWS Data Lake) read-only data access from Azure using Model Context Protocol (MCP)
3. Configure Microsoft Agent 365 for observability and monitoring
4. Execute agreed evaluation scenarios using the customer-provided test dataset
5. Document the solution, deployment approach, assumptions, limitations and findings
