Job title: Project Planner

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Planner to work for one of our prestigious clients in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible of the following:

*Create and maintain project plan.
*Create formal communication plan to both team members and management.
Frequently will be assigned as team leader; having indirect responsibility for team members' completion of tasks to project plan.
*Create and maintain project financial justification.
*Provide support for the administration of contracts including scope of works & tender/contract
preparation, and correspondence.
*Owns, creates, manages and maintains all Planning Processes, ensuring that these processes are fit for purpose. Maintains and monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes and procedures, ensuring that they are carried out to agreed levels of service or specific requirements of service level agreements.
*Supports the Work Planning Group and the Project Manager by raising any concerns found on progress within plans.
*Owns the Standard/Operational work list and ensures that it is reviewed and updated on an appropriate regular basis.
*Interface the schedule with the project budget.
*Analyze validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the
project
*Monitor actual job progress, compare to baseline and report progress against
schedule
*Analyze and report productivity and trends
*Forecast the impacts on schedule of proposed changes
recommend policy or procedural revisions that will improve schedule
accomplishment
*Attend management, project team and customer meetings as requested by
the project manager.
*Assist management, project managers and colleagues to understand and
accept scheduling concepts, theory and alternative approaches in scheduling
project activities.
*Archive actual schedule achievements for estimating future similar projectsMinimum experience of 5 years required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications and Skills:

*Project Management Certified
*Primavera Project Management Certified
*Experience of managing Budget.
*Full understanding of commercial contract management.
*Analytical. Experience of complex problem identification and resolution.
*Knowledge and experience of continuous Service Improvement methods.
*University degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 - 8 years in Project Planning.
