Job description:
Core-Asset Consulting's client, a prestigious UK investment management firm, is looking for a Property Fund Specialist to join their office in Edinburgh for an initial contract of 6 months.
Core responsibilities:
- Completion of target operating model design and documentation
- Test preparation and execution
- Documentation of user materials (procedures, training etc.)
- Stakeholder management
- Occasional travel to other offices in the UK
Core requirements:
- Good property fund accounting experience - could have been gained in a TPA/Investment company fund accounting team or as an auditor of Property funds
- Project management/BA skills
- Accountant - Qualified or Part Qualified with extensive accounting experience
- Property accounting experience - familiar with technical aspects such as pre-paid rent, lease incentives, rent free periods, voids, service charge etc.
- Experience of accounting system implementations, especially testing/configuration
- Quick learner able to join a live project team at the build/test phase
- Skilled user of Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, (Visio, would also be beneficial)
- Good communication skills, able to engage with senior people in different organisations
