Description
Are you a Python developer with experience of transcoding digital media, Restful API (or similar) and knowledge of Linux command codes?
If so you could join a greenfield project with a well-funded start-up in Central London, with an option later to become a permanent asset to this innovative organisation.
Their technology targets audio/video content offered by broadcasters, VoD and streaming service providers to their audience by intelligently sourcing user specific interests via their browsing experiences.
Your responsibilities will include developing the Python systems applications that focus the vast amount of broadcast digital media content available, transcoding the media and formatting metadata to produce a highly unique and bespoke user experience.
You will be supported by leading industry experts but the role will have a good deal of autonomy and will suit creative, team-focused talent.
The contract assignment will be initially three months, and very likely to extend due to their customer demand.
Ideally Python 2.7, Linux command codes, transcoding tools, metadata/XML, JSON, Restful API (or similar).
