QA Automation Engineer (Flutter) | 12-Month Contract | Remote |
We're supporting a client looking for a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to help increase automated test coverage across an existing cross-platform Flutter application.
This is a contract-focused role for someone who enjoys building and improving test automation rather than managing teams or test functions.
The Role
You'll be working on a Flutter application that runs across:
- Android
- iOS
- Windows
A key objective will be automating existing test cases using Flutter Integration Tests. The application also interacts with connected devices using:
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- NFC
- USB
Existing test cases are managed within Zephyr.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate existing test cases using Flutter Integration Tests
- Support testing activities across Android, iOS and Windows platforms
- Work within an existing Flutter application environment
- Support testing of BLE, NFC and USB-connected device functionality
- Contribute to increased automation coverage across the application
Required Experience
- QA Automation experience
- Mobile application testing experience
- Experience working with Flutter applications
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tooling
- Ability to work in a hands-on engineering capacity
Desirable Experience
- Flutter Integration Test
- Zephyr
- BLE testing
- NFC testing
- USB-connected device testing
- IoT or connected-device testing
Contract Details
- 12-month initial contract
- Remote working
- Preference for candidates located in or near Portugal
- Pay: Between €4400-€4800/month (gross)
