Proteus Europe acting as an employment agency are currently seeking a QA Engineer and a Graduate QA Engineer for excellent opportunities in Dublin.

The successful candidate will to join a technology team responsible for producing world leading new business processing and underwriting automation solutions for the life insurance industry.

This is a technical testing role working with an integrated team that includes testers, developers and product managers. This role requires a broad level of testing experience along with a strong aptitude for test automation.
  • Write test automation code and build test automation suites.
  • Execute automated test suites and interpret results.
  • Execute manual regression/exploratory tests where necessary.
  • Collaborate with developers, solution architects, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of projects.
  • Actively participate in an Agile development environment.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot issues with software and environment.
  • Serve as an individual contributor and team member.
  • Degree educated, preferably Computer Science BSc or equivalent
  • At least 3 years (1 for graduate) experience in a software testing role " Be passionate about user experience and software quality
  • Experience of automating front-end web application testing and back-end web services testing.
  • Experience defining and executing manual test specifications.
  • Have a working knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Groovy).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Issue tracking and Test Case Management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
