Description
My client, a leading European Utilities company, requires the services of 2 Qlikview Consultants to work in Stockholm, Sweden.
The BI Consultant will
- Be a core technical member of the team working with in-house and externally designed Qlikview applications.
- Will add significant value to projects and change requests
- Be able to make a solid time and effort estimation
- Identify data in source systems and map data to the Qlikview environment
- Pin-point data quality gaps and develop a plan to close those gaps
- Support in creating functional design and create technical specification
- Design and build ETL processes in Qlikview according to Vattenfall Developer Guidelines
- Be at the forefront of Qlikview development
- Perform unit testing and integration testing
- Support the business with UAT
- Prepare and perform go-live activities and create application documentation
- Hand over deliveries and maintain close contact with the Qlikview maintenance team
- Be curious and hungry to take on new things and work in an Agile way of work eg SCRUM
- Collaborate closely with source system teams like SAP IS-U, SAP BW, MS SQL
- Actively find solutions to issues that might appear
We expect you to have
- A Qlikview certification and solid knowledge about NPrinting
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing principles
- Experience in requirements gathering and writing Functional and Technical designs
- Experience in optimizing code tuning and loading performance
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes
- Key competency in troubleshooting production issues, process chains, and extraction and transformation loads
- Good communication skills to work with business and functional analysts to interpret business reporting requirements and design accurate and stable technical solutions
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- A proactive working attitude
- Basic understanding of business processes in the energy and finance sector
