Description

This multi-national organisation is one of the fastest growing food manufacturing companies in the UK, with an ever growing client base of retailers and impressive growth plans in place for 2013. Following unprecedented success and expansion over recent years, we have been retained to source a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager who will constantly strive for excellence, drive the operation forward through various methods of continuous improvement and pioneer a robust QA culture throughout the factory.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the successful incumbent will have full responsibility for advising on all technical aspects of factory production, ensuring that all products meet customer and legal requirements. You will actively seek to reduce any negative environmental impact on processes and procedures as well as spearheading successful new product introduction. A fundamental part of the role will be the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a HACCP-orientated Quality Management System, which will enable you to manage customer best practice, BRC and third party/legislative standards amongst other due diligence requirements. You will take corrective action on any non-conformances and customer complaints, proactively ensuring hasty and effective resolutions. In addition, you will manage strict KPI's from both company and customer, liaise with clients and statutory bodies during visits and provide technical guidance, training and support to other departments.

Clearly this is an opportunity for an individual of graduate calibre with extensive experience of QA Management in FMCG Food manufacturing. Previous experience of managing a team and managing change are imperative whilst demonstrable excellence in communication and decision-making will provide an invaluable foundation for success. You will have the ability to nurture and manage customer relationships, promote a 2-way communication environment within the entire team and have an instinctive emphasis on ensuring quality standards and health and safety requirements are met.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-leader which values its employees, offers unrivalled career progression and investment in personal development. If you are interested in this position please email me an up to date and CV.
