GCS Construction is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their cost consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing company based in London.
My client is an established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy specialising in the delivery of project management, cost consultancy, CDM co-ordination services to all areas of the construction and property industry.
You will be:
- Degree qualified in BSc Quantity Surveying
You will require experience with the following:
- Working in a Cost Consultancy environment, with exposure to projects in Residential, Education, Health Sectors is essential
Your technical responsibilities will include:
- Cash flow management
- Contract admin and cost management
- Cost Management and reporting
- Tender documentation
- Bills of Quantities
- Negotiating Final accounts
- Post contract cost management
In addition to the above you will be:
- Passionate about Cost Consulting and developing a career with a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
- Well-developed with IT skills and high levels of numeracy and literacy
- A committed team player with the ability to listen effectively and understand perspective of others
