R Developer
One of my insurance clients based in The Hague, Netherlands is urgently looking for a R Developer for 6-12 month contract.
Key tasks include technical and hands-on management of the financial models used by Finance Nederland, focused on R. This also encompasses implementing software updates as a result of continued development of methodologies, products, financial policy and regulation; acting as guardian of model standards, developing new models - and working closely with multi-disciplinary project teams with the Finance domain.
Profile
- MSc, preferably in Econometrics, Science, Statistics or Computer ScienceAffinity for Finance, Financial Risk, modelling and IT
- Preferably 3+ years of programming experience
- Familiarity with OTAP processes and CI/CD Familiarity with modern cloud services
- Thorough knowledge of R is a must
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Bi is a plus
