Position: Talent Acquisition Associate
Location: Buffalo, NY - 14202
Duration: 4 months (with possible extension)
Description:
- Supports the organization's business objectives by participating in the sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, and hiring of high-quality candidates.
- Assists the recruitment staff in the execution of assigned searches, while participating in learning and training activities.
Primary Responsibility:
- Supports the recruitment staff in the execution of search activities (sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing and hiring).
- Processes candidates through different recruitment stages through the BrassRing applicant tracking system (TalentConnect) following defined procedures.
- Builds sourcing capabilities to identify, attract and secure passive candidates. This includes Internet searching, networking and other techniques.
- Gains awareness and knowledge of government regulations to operate within legal human resource guidelines.
- Develops initial partnering relationships with internal clients.
- Attends training and participates in targeted self-development programs to build recruitment capabilities and become highly knowledgeable about the business and functional areas as assigned.

Education:
- Bachelors Degree: Business Admin., Human Resources or related area. Masters degree a plus.
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in HR, recruitment or other related field.
