Hudson are recruiting for a Regulatory Accountant for a large financial services organisation based in Bristol for a 3 month contract with the prospect to extend.
The Role
As a Regulatory Accountant, role within the Reporting Service Centre and helps in the preparation of the accurate and timely reporting of the Insurance division results within the organisation consolidated results.
Other duties and responsibilities
- Proactively developing, maintaining and managing the production of financial statements and regulatory returns, included the production of consolidated results.
- Help improve the understanding of the result and balance sheets of complex Life assurance entities to enhance the financial control environment
- Ability to produce high quality reports to key stakeholders based on half year and year end financials.
Our client
Is a large multinational, market leading financial services organisation that is experiencing substantial growth, the role will require multiples of individuals who are technical and qualified in this area.
What are we looking for?
- Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- A good understanding of IFRS, Solvency II,
- ICA reporting metrics are favourable, but not essential
- Experience in financial services, preferable within insurance division
- Strong excel and analytical skills required
- Experience in stakeholder management
