Regulatory Compliance Remediation Executive - Managed Services - Newcastle
We are looking for a talented individual to join our clients' growing business in a new and exciting role as a Regulatory Compliance Remediation Executive. You will be joining their rapidly expanding Managed Services team providing technical compliance advice on regulatory issues and industry changes to highly regarded Financial Services clients.
You will be providing compliance advice on regulatory issues and industry changes. This is a key role in which you will apply your experience of financial sector compliance to help clients meet their regulatory obligations around a variety of increasingly complex compliance matters (eg PPI, CCA and complaint handling).
Location: Newcastle
Contract Length: Initially 3-4 months
Daily rate: £200-£300

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of effective Remediation and Regulatory solutions and improve their effectiveness
  • Implement and ensure timely compliance with new or revised regulatory change
  • Assist in the development of compliance procedures within client project teams
  • As required support on bids and proposals for new client opportunities and grow existing valued relationships.
  • Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support and updating senior members on progress
  • Help upskill the wider team in areas relating to Project Management, PMO, Process Design/Mapping and/or Target Operating Model

Skills required:

  • Confident in the use of Excel and other desktop applications
  • Assertive and proactive approach to the delivery/implementation of client engagements
  • Ability to network effectively within large organisations and build relationships with individuals and clients
  • Regulatory compliance experience and technical knowledge of financial products or regulated activities
  • Analytical capability coupled with experience in coaching and developing junior staff a strong advantage
  • Experience preferred in areas relating to Project Management, PMO, Process Design/Mapping and/or Target Operating Model
