My Client a Global Technology Company is currently seeking a Research and Insights Manager to work on an initial 12 month contract position based in London.
The Research & Insight Manager will be responsible for leading Audience Insight for Advertising across EMEA. The role will involve managing research projects and providing data & insight to help drive Advert sales & support, Advert product & services strategy, Campaign reporting, Planning & Marketing for all advertising offerings in the region. This is a high visibility role interfacing with individuals from all levels - from sales support to senior management and clients and requires the ability to drive considerable change in behaviour and practice, via influence and education. The Research & Insight Manager will also manage a research sales support member of the team, ensuring they provide a timely and quality service & assisting them when workload is heavy.
Responsibilities:
-Lead Insight initiatives for Advertising EMEA and ensure the business is equipped with relevant Audience, Market & Campaign Intelligence to drive revenue.
-Regularly meet with vendors to ensure the team is kept up to date with new cost-efficient measurement services and methodologies in the market
-Analyse current & past campaigns to provide enhanced campaign reports and benchmarks for key clients & provide insight for future campaign optimisation
-Provide insight on consumer behaviour, advertising spend & market trends within the gaming, digital, advertising & connected TV sectors to aid business planning & strategy.
Essential Requirements:
-Experience in research/account planning, and/or strategic planning, on the agency and/or the client side - ideally at a media owner or media agency.
-Familiarity with offline media (eg TV) & offline media measurement
-Good knowledge & practical experience in using media research & data analysis systems (eg TGI/IMS) & online research tools (eg Comscore)
