Description

My client a leading entertainment brand urgently seeks a Research Insights Manager to manage and deliver consumer insight projects across the EMEA region on a 3-6 month initial contract in their London office.

The Role

This is a research role with responsibility for developing managing and delivering consumer insight projects across EMEA region of the company.

The purpose of this role is to optimise audience understanding to generate maximum value for the business. This role will work across the company's functions to support the provision of insight to aid strategy implementation on cross company objectives as well as supporting individual lines of business.

This role has EMEA responsibilities meaning being aware of activity across the region, consulting with local teams and encouraging best practice and sharing across markets.

Overview

Manage and deliver (insert specified carved out area) Consumer Insight projects supporting the various Business functions with any qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and interpretation.

Key Stakeholders

Marketing, Franchise, Consumer Products, Retail, Ad Sales, and EMEA regional research.

Key functions

1) Deliver actionable insights - understand the consumer insight implications in the context of the broader Industry, media and entertainment and what the insights mean in terms of opportunities - The 'So What' and 'Now what'.

2) Implementation - Planning, monitoring, and delivering all research utilising the most appropriate and impactful methodologies.

3) Stakeholder management - ensure internal clients' needs are met along with strong communication presentation skills

3) Education - Working closely with Head of Consumer Research and Head of Audience Strategy to ensure the delivery of the Audience Insights education program

Operational responsibilities:

- Research Techniques - Ability to perform a range of advanced level quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Deep understanding of how to draw insightful conclusions from large volumes of content, identifying trends and patterns, using either a single source of data or multiple sources to create cross-referenced conclusions, drawing on both evidence-based and creative/intuitive techniques of interpretation.

- Strategic Direction - Contribute as a lead member of the research team and offering challenge and support on research and insight across the business

- Work Collaboratively - work collaboratively with EMEA research and other Business Intelligence experts to understand the appropriateness and impact of triangulating Consumer Insights with other sources (Channel ratings, Social Media, NPD Toys, TGI, Digital engagement metrics, internal proprietary data and Studio measurement KPI's etc)

- Planning: Through understanding the business and audience, identify knowledge gaps and recommend research initiatives that can fill gaps to meet a business need.

- Support of the EMEA Senior Management by providing the insights and metrics needed for understanding character franchise performance

- Evaluation: Develop strong relationships with the relevant and best in field agencies to support all research needs across digital, shopper, npd projects etc.

- Best Practice methodology and processes to be shared across the EMEA Research teams to maximise efficiency and generating impactful insights. Work in a consultancy role for other research teams on primary research best practice.

- Industry Leadership: Utilise emerging research techniques that help better understand emotional drivers eg Neuro-Science
