Description
Essential Functions:- Participation Elections/AFEs
- Assist in the preparation of AFE evaluations
- Follow-up on all non-op wells
- File all completion, drilling, and production information electronically on our network. Request information from partners if we are delinquent in receiving info.
- Track first production on wells. On high interest wells request daily production operators from our partner. Maintain this production data in our ARIES application.
- Ensure we are billed and receiving revenue at the correct interests. Compare our JIB statements to our division orderTrack revisionary interest points on wells if applicable.
- Track various information in a master excel sheet/access database.
- Assist the non-op engineer in preparing the non-op projects capital and budget forecasts within WellSpring application
- Production forecasts
- Capital and expense forecasting
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Quick learner with ability to quickly gain proficiency with ARIES, Spotfire, and WellSpring
- Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze extensive amounts of data and information quickly and accurately
- High level of agility; with a strong desire to adapt and improve new methods and technologies
- Strong math and analytical computer and database skills
- Advance skill set in MS Excel and Access
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines
Minimum qualifications:
- 2-5 years engineering technician or oil and gas experience
- High school diploma or GED required
