Based in Bexhill-On-Sea on the South Coast with over 1500 staff at our HQ we are currently seeking a Resourcing Manager to join the team.

PURPOSE:

To deliver a comprehensive, efficient and effective resourcing service to the business for all volume recruitment in order to ensure that the business is resourced appropriately at all times with the best talent.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To deliver against the agreed resourcing requirements for Hastings within agreed timescales, monitoring selection pool at all stages of the resourcing process, and proactively raising any concerns.
  • To manage stakeholder expectations in relation to all volume recruitment through pro-active communications and engagement with the business.
  • To ensure the end to end resourcing process is followed, planning the years' volume selection events well in advance, ensuring the required number of accredited interviewers are in place.
  • To organise a range of selection events (including open days/recruitment drives etc as well as regular selection events) which make for a positive candidate experience. To continuously seek to improve these.
  • To work with agencies as appropriate in order to ensure vacancies are filled.
  • To provide expert advice to the business on where and how to advertise positions, maximising the pool of talent and with due regard to cost efficiencies.
  • To keep up to date with the latest technological interventions which might enhance both our capacity to attract talent and the candidate experience, making recommendations to the Head of Resourcing and Talent on the adoption of these. Where necessary, to prepare financial calculations and business cases on the feasibility of such new initiatives.New

KNOWLEDGE:
  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment markets
  • Expert in use of testing tools
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment and selection employment law
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment branding
  • Expert in use of media options and up to date knowledge of technical developments in recruitment

SKILLS:

  • Proactive in planning and organizing
  • Level A and B trained - member of British Psychological Society
  • Accredited by SHL to conduct tests such as OPQ
  • Skilled interviewer, formally trained in competency based interviewing
  • Numerate

EXPERIENCE:

  • Substantial and demonstrable experience in managing large scale recruitment activity in a similar environment
  • Substantial in-house resourcing experience, used to operating at a senior level
  • Expertise and proven track record in delivering a first class recruitment service across all disciplines
  • Demonstrable experience of delivery against targets
