Position: Revenue Assurance Manager
Location: Maidenhead
Context and purpose:
- Working in the Revenue Assurance & Billing team, the main responsibilities of the role are two-fold: 1) to manage the Revenue Assurance road map plan overall, and 2) to be responsible for specific operational activities and road map initiatives.
- The role includes managing the 2014 road map initiatives which are part of the overall 3-year Revenue Assurance strategy plan, which will require coordination of activities across the Revenue Assurance team
- The role will have responsibilities in a project to upgrade and improve the Revenue Assurance usage reconciliation system.
- The role will have responsibilities related the compliance to the Ofcom Metering & Billing Direction, and will be coordinating activities across the relevant business teams and processes.
- The role will report into the Head of Revenue Assurance & Billing.
Scope:
The scope of the role is to be responsible for managing the Revenue Assurance road map plan, and to be responsible for Revenue Assurance operational activities and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue Assurance Road Map Plan: To manage the overall Revenue Assurance road map plan. This includes managing the planning, tracking, and reporting of the initiatives on the plan. This means working with the members of the Revenue Assurance team and beyond, to ensure robust plans are in place and that initiatives are delivered according to the plan.
- Revenue Assurance System Upgrade Project: To represent the business owner for the project to upgrade the existing Revenue Assurance system used to perform usage reconciliation. To work with other members of the Revenue Assurance team to ensure business requirements are captured and fully understood, and that all business activities are planned towards a successful delivery. The project will deliver new Revenue Assurance controls for LTE and will improve existing controls.
- Ofcom Metering & Billing: To support activities related to ensuring compliance with the Ofcom Metering & Billing Direction. To work with other members of the Revenue Assurance team, Billing team and wider business teams to ensure business processes, measurements, and supporting documentation are supporting regulatory compliance.
- Revenue Assurance Activities: To manage and support Revenue Assurance initiatives and operational activities.
Knowledge and experience:
- Essential:
- Demonstrable Revenue Assurance experience from the telecommunications industry.
- Project Management experience with delivery of business and technical initiatives; experience with delivery of Revenue Assurance IT and business projects.
- Experience with managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong overall communications skills, and ability to present coherent, concise and compelling recommendations to drive business improvements
- Ability to get up to speed' quickly with the current work.
- Desirable:
- Experience from a mobile telecommunications service provider.
- Good understanding of the Ofcom Metering & Billing Direction.
