Risk Manager - Supply Chain Finance Dept Risk & Compliance - Brentford - Negotiable - 6 months

We need a Risk Manager to drive risk mitigation for key change initiatives significantly impacting the finance organisation such as system change, TOM build out, GPO development, process simplifications in GSK Exports, Trading Partner, Supply Chain Accounting Operations. CERPS (SAP) has been implemented for Trading Partner Operations (TPO). There will be new risks during the implementation and operationalisation. Risk assessments would require to be performed post implementation, mitigating controls identified and Embedded in the Internal control framework.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with relevant Global Process Owner or project to ensure robust risk mitigation plans are built by the organization. Ensure an end to end process perspective is applied by all to ensure people capability & capacity, organizational structure and system resource limitations are adequately assessed for the GSK Exports, Trading Partner Operations, and Supply Chain Accounting processes

2. Be the go to' person in R&C team for process design issues for the operations teams and risk management teams working in Supply Chain Finance processes

3. Understand and escalate requests for changes to process design at all service locations based on the outputs from data analytics.

4. Provide risk & compliance inputs as part of project team for large process design projects to support major business change

5. Understand and escalate requests for changes to process design.

6. Support implementation of new ERP CERPS (SAP) - GSK Exports, Trading Partner Operations.

7. Understand inherent and emerging risks in proposed finance processes and ensure that process risks are identified, mitigated, controlled and reported appropriately.

8. Interact with key process stakeholders to understand current and emerging business requirements - appreciate risks to implementation and ownership of proposed controls.

9. Review relevant policies/SOPs for the newly designed processes (pursuant to new ERP or process re-design) to ensure process risks and controls are sufficiently documented.

10. Ensure process map documentation includes agreed variations for local legal, fiscal or system limitations, including RACI and key controls.

11. Provide input to documentation (STPs) for ERP (CERPS) and other tools, for changes to the Template Review Board for approval

12. Provide risk & compliance inputs as part of project team for large process design projects to support major business change in Supply Chain Finance

Education & Skills required

- Area of Specialisation: Accountancy, Audit, Risk Management, Controls. This role contains a high level of complexity and education. A good understanding of the process and its risk (inherent and emerging) is essential. Supply Chain Finance is a complex area. CERPS (SAP) has been implemented for Trading Partner Operations (TPO), Legacy system is still being used for GSK Export. There will be new risks identified during the implementation and operationalisation. Risk assessment across its various processes requires a strong mix of risk management & controls theory, business process experience and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Preferred Level of Education CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA with a minimum 4-5 years Post Qualification experience in Process operations, including 1-2 years in SOX Compliance, internal audit Risk Management and Compliance.

Minimum Experience Required

Strong experience in risk assessment, auditing and internal controls

Good knowledge of finance operations

Working experience of SAP

Experience in key processes of P2P, O2C and R2R
