Communications and Data Link Systems Engineer - Contract - Hampshire

The Maritime Communications and Data Link Engineer will be responsible for the operational and system analysis and design of system integration solutions for maritime opportunities and programmes.

If you can answer these questions I want to hear from you!

1. What are the key Maritime datalink systems?

2. How have you influenced the design of systems you have worked with?

3. Describe some of the key limitations of TDL systems?

4. How do you think TDL systems could be improved to deliver low latency high capacity data links?

5. How do you see TDL interfacing with Force Threat Evaluation and Weapon Assignment doctrine in the future?

6. What are the key benefits of TDL over HF and what are its major drawbacks?

7. Describe at high level how you see a UAV solution for TDL being deployed, what are the key elements and challenges you would need to consider?

8. How would you deliver TDL to small craft in the littoral?
