Description
For The Global Bank based in London we are looking for the RPG developer who will be responsible for design and development of UK's core banking system
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and how they translate into the application
- Ensuring development is carried out according to the Bank's IT Development Process
- Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new development
- Writing high-quality code within deadlines
- Evaluate existing application to reprogram, update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and instructions to accurately represent application design and code
Requirments (Additional skills)
- 3+ years of experience as RPG developer
- Experience in designing and building applications
- In-depth knowledge of programming for IBMi operating system and platform using development tools
- Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
- Experiance in working with Agile
- BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field; MSc/MA will be appreciated
- Previous experience in projects for banks
