Description
RPG Developer required by my client on an initial 6 -12 month contract based in Peterborough.
The rate is negotiable depending on experience
AS400/I-Series, RPG400, RPG ILE, Free Format RPG, B2B, SQL, EDI Intercept-400 experience
Essential skills:
You will need to have technical skills in RPG400/ILE/Free Format RPG, B2B, EDI preferably gained from within an end-user environment ideally covering:
*Full development life cycle expertise
*Able to communicate at all levels
*Work unsupervised, prioritising work based on business impact
*Software troubleshooting experience
*Able to support clients with Intercept-400 software for EDI mapping
*Tradacom, EDIFACT and ANSI X12 messaging standard knowledge
*Supporting EDI systems for various retail mapping requirements
*Can-do attitude with a determination to see the job through to resolution
*Retail experience is highly desirable
*Customer focused and approachable
