Are you sales focused with a background in Oil & Gas?

We are currently looking for a sales engineer to drive the pump and mechanical seals sales activities, focusing particularly on mechanical seals and aftermarket business development (Spare Parts, Service & Repair with particular attention to high end offerings, e.g. ISG, Upgrades, etc.) within the assigned territory.

This territory based role requires a dynamic self-motivated individual who understands the local market needs and opportunities, and has the ability to successfully communicate to achieve growth.

The successful candidate will offer direct sales / marketing experience in rotating equipment, as well as the ability to make calculated decisions through the understanding of local market & culture within the area of responsibility.

Qualifications:
* Engineering degree (mechanical or similar preferred);
* Extensive proven relevant experience in Technical Sales;
* Background in aftermarket development is preferred;
* Demonstrated skills in direct sales activity (negotiation, communication, presentation and influencing skills) is essential;
* Previous experience in setting up and managing sales third party channel (sales rep. or distributor network) is preferred;
* Fluent working knowledge of English language verbally and in writing is essential;
* Team-player, with well-developed interpersonal skills;
* Proven time management and organizational skills;
* Ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels within the business;
* Superior multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan, implement and ensure the area sales forecast is met or exceeded;
* Support the annual strategic sales plan based on market opportunities; *Offer products at established prices and discounts;
* Develop and maintain good contacts with the BU's, aftermarket organizations and ISG so customer needs are addressed swiftly;
* Building up and running a distributor infrastructure, particularly for the mechanical seals products (medium term objective);
* Follow the PMP process to ensure Goals and Objectives are met or exceeded, identifying shortfalls and seeking training and support where necessary;
* Ensure active participation and completion of all company sponsored safety training as scheduled;
* Drive improved customer satisfaction, place customers first, act as their advocate within the organization;
* Follow-up on overdue receivables;
* Provide professional communication and implementation of company's strategies and policies.
