Description
SAN DISK Administrator required for a Large Financial Services client based in Pudsey/Leeds on a 6 month initial contract.
Required skills/technologies
HDS USP/USPV/VSP
Excellent working knowledge of Hitachi Command Suite v7 and v8.
Experience of setting up and managing True Copy, HUR remote copy functions via
GUI and HORCM
Experience of setting up and managing Thin image and shadow image configurations via GUI and HORCM
Brocade Switch infrastructure - Brocade 48K, DCX and DCX-8510
Standard zoning configurations.
Basic switch management functions.
Additional skills
IBM SVC, DS8000
Any backup skills - TSM, NetBackup
Cisco SAN
NetApp
ITIL - Change control, Incident & Problem resolution
Role will be for both Disk/SAN implementation as part of projects and support of the live and dev/test environments. Experience of working in a financial environment a benefit. Out of hours work will be required as part of the role.
