My client, a global giant within their industry, is looking for an experienced SAP APO Consultant to join one of their onsite project teams in North Belgium. As the APO Consultant you will be assisting our client with one of their ongoing projects and will acts as a crucial team member assisting onsite, virtual and offshore teams.
Job description:
- Develop a strong understanding on the template design.
- Rolling out Cross System flow of Goods (CSFG) and replenishment scenarios in Europe.
- Understand and evaluate business requirements, identify the changes to the template and translate them into functional specification and technical design.
- Perform hands-on configuration and instruct ABAP programmers.
- Define unit test scenarios and execute unit testing. Document test scripts and test evidence in testing tool (HP Quality centre).
- Define integration test scenarios and execute integration testing. Document the scripts and evidence in the testing tool.
- Assist business users during UAT.
- Perform Regression test scenarios for testing the existing functionalities against changes.
- Provide post go-live support and drive the smooth transition of the support to the respective teams
- With the other team members, be accountable for on time delivery of the project deliverables.
Essential Skills:
- Senior level APO/SNP/GATP
- Excellent knowledge of the APO SNP module in addition to good knowledge of APO DP, SAP BW.
- Knowledge of integration points with SAP ECC Logistics modules.
- Excellent knowledge of the APO GATP module along with hands on CIF experience.
- Good knowledge of integration points with SAP SD.
Desirable Skills:
- Basic level APO - PPDS
- Experience in working with a virtual team & collaboration with off-shore ABAP team
- Experience in working with an international environment, with key users located across different geographical regions.
- Experience working with GxP environment.
SAP CSFG (Cross system flow of goods) knowledge/exposure
Roll-outs:
- Required experience in rolling-out SAP APO implementations
- Required strong knowledge of GATP and Replenishment planning processes in particular as well as Supply Chain processes in general.
Experience:
- Have at least 5 to 8 years of experience working with hands on SAP APO consulting.
Communication Skills:
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Require excellent communication skills towards key users on functional level.
