SAP Basis APO Consultant needed - Spain - 6 months (extension up to 2 years)
My client based in Spain is currently looking for the following consultant to work with them for an initial 6 month contract with the option of extending them up to 2 years thereafter.
The role will be based in Spain and will require the candidate to be working onsite.
There is currently no APO/SCM knowledge in the team, so this is critcal, and ideally needs to be someone with extensive knowledge who can come in and hit the ground running.
Tasks:
- Installation of new SCM systems
- DR configuration and installation for SCM solution (Including Livecache replication)
- Technical administration, tuning and monitoring of the SCM including livecache and optimizer systems.
- Connectivity to other systems BI/ECC/XI/Portal
- LiveCache and Optimizer administration.
- Provide technical support for the functional and project teams.
- Transport system administration and configuration
- System and client copies
- Upgrades/Support Packs/Addons
- Provide support for all technical activities during project go-lives.
- Cross train team members and off-shore production support teams.
- Although SCM/APO will be main focus, this role will also help with other systems activities in the SAP landscape
Provide documentation with procedures for system administration tasks
You will be office based in Spain with occasional travel to Moscow, Russia. (about 20% of the time)
Project Language is English speaking.
