SAP BI Solution Designer - Dutch Speaking - Merelbeke, Belgium.
My client in Merelbeke, Belgium is looking for an SAP BI/BW Consultant with strong conceptual/design skills.
Description:
* Has full technical responsibility for the success of the chosen design, construction, application and integration into the system for a technical specialization.
* You are responsible for maintenance and assistance with projects of our SAP environment with a focus on reporting and integration between the BI and SAP Back End team.
* Based on the reporting needs, you work according to the data model from the client's regulations. Here you make the correct evaluation from what the standard business content can be delivered.
* You are responsible for the technical implementation.
* You check the work done on the basis of a pre-defined test plan.
* You will ensure that our monitoring within the proper parameters are followed so that all errors are immediately visible so that the agreed service levels can be achieved.
* You keep the documentation up to date.
* You are responsible for the successful implementation of requested changes (Maintenance).
Other tasks:
* You will assist the project in solving technical issues.
* You will assist the other solution designers with maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of SAP BI monitoring and reporting facilities.
* Good knowledge of 1 or more SAP ECC 6 Modules
* Good knowledge of ABAP and R3 extractors.
* Good knowledge of ITIL processes, APM and how they can be used to guarantee service levels.
* Knowledge of the different application communication layers.
* Practical experience in setting up and using monitoring tools within the SAP landscape monitoring.
* Basic knowledge of project methodology.
