We are currently searching for SAP BW/BI expert with Solution design experience:
Start date:
Length of contract: 12 months

Location: near Ghent
Job function: BW Solution Designer
Has full technical responsibility for the success of the chosen design, construction, application and integration into the Client BI systems (SAP BW/BPC) .
You are responsible for projects in BPC environment and maintenance of our SAP BW, IP and:
You must capture and analyses its reporting/planning needs with business representatives.
Based on the reporting needs work the data model in accordance with the Client BI regulations. Here you make the correct evaluation which can be supplied from the standard business content.
Starting from an analysis, you are responsible for the technical implementation of the BW documents and hereby provide the necessary transport request.
You design and build IP or BPC models and allows for a smooth integration with the BW substructure. Even the design of input screens and/or reports are among the tasks
You check the work carried out on the basis of a pre-defined test plan.
You ensure that the correct parameters are followed in our monitoring so that all errors are immediately visible that the agreed service levels can be achieved.
You must keep the records up to date.
You are responsible for successful implementation of changes requested (Maintenance) .
You are responsible for the life cycle management and updates/upgrades of existing BW/IP/BPC environment.
Other tasks:
You will assist the project team in resolving technical issues.
You will assist the other solution designers at Maintenance and project assignments.
Based on your expertise, you make improvement proposals within the SAP BW/IP/BPC framework
Skills - must haves and knowledge
In-depth knowledge of the SAP data warehouse tools, SAP BW 7.3 and SAP BW reporting tools, as well as IP and BPC 10 .
Knowledge of Oracle source system BW and/or knowledge of R3 modules ( FI, CO, ISU, HR, ..) as a source system BW .
Knowledge of Web Application Designer is a plus.
Knowledge of BI architectural aspects such as data warehouse different layers.
Good knowledge of Dutch.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of general BI experience.
At least 4 years " SAP BW " & " SAP Business Explorer " experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in the " IP " tools and " BPC " .
More than 5 years' experience in the ICT world.
Practical knowledge in SAP Utilities is a major plus.
Practical ABAP knowledge is a plus.
Practical experience in setting up the SAP/IP/BPC monitoring tools within a landscape monitoring and use.
