Description
The Data Migration project - as part of the LZA program - is aiming to deliver the following
- Conversion software
- load and reconciliation software
- Business Blue Print documentation (loading & reconciliation)
- Specifications (BPD, IMG, FD and TD)
- Implementation manual (run book) for in-conversion SAP, part of the overall implementation manual Data Migration
- System readiness checklist
- Test recommendation report
- PRA (ProductRiskAnalysis)
- Security Baseline Check
Under responsibility of the Project Manager the SAP consultants will support the Client within the Data Migration project as part of the LZA program in the following areas:
Task description of the MWB and technical consultants:
The following will be the mayor activities of the Migration Workbench expert and the Technical expert
Give recommendations on how most efficiently and performantly use the MWB tool and its migration tables
Create migration tables
Develop programs to upload load files into the migration tables taking into account the following aspects:
- Performance/parallelization framework
- Logging
- Error handling
- reprocessing
- Configure MWB
- Develop programs to load data from the migration tables into the recommended SAP structures using MWB taking into account the following aspects:
- Performance/parallelization framework
- Logging
- Error handling
- reprocessing
- Develop programs to extract data for reconciliation purposes:
- Performance/parallelization framework
- Logging
- Error handling
- Reprocessing
- Develop a small framework to handle migration groups to be able to automate testing and future Rabobank migrations
- Execute unit tests (migration know how is important)
- MWB-specialist: Transfer know-how to the other developer(s) and to the functional consultants and testers to a lesser extend
- Writing the TD (Technical Design) document
