Description
Global SAP Functional Analyst PP, PP-PI, APO
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all SAP PP, PP-PI and APO activities. Work with Business and IT to design, develop, support and continuously improve applications and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for effective and efficient functionality of the SAP PP, PP-PI and APO landscape
- Responsible for the implementation of necessary changes without causing business interruptions
- Support for defining and reporting the controls required for the IT application processes
- Support for SAP PP, PP-PI and APO application budget planning and adherence to operational spending
- Support high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements and architect custom end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements, managing functional and technical support and prioritization across IT projects and on-going user support
- Work closely with all other Global IT Applications functions, development teams, external partners and business units to ensure successful project completion
- Responsible to create documentation for implementation and updates in the SAP and SAP eco-system as described in the Change Management process; while completing the configuration and initial testing of the Change Requests approved
- Support Business Testing and Training team in creating test scenarios and user manuals for new and updated processes
- Support Access Control team in creating roles for different user functionalities
- Collaborate to support to be compliant with the client IT standards
- Responsible to analyze the Events, Incidents, Problems, Request, Access and Changes
Required Skills
- Excellent understanding of IT Application architectures
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Fluent written and oral English language skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to conduct research
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals, objectives and business processes
- Ability to travel 10% - 20% including international
Required Experience
- Bachelor degree in the field of computer science, information systems, business administration or related preferred
- Minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience with business application environments and technology
- Proven experience in the implementation and support of complex application systems
- Proven experience in implementation and support of SAP PP, PP-PI and APO applications
- Experience in MII a plus
- Strong knowledge of application system best practices and methodologies
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
