Summary:
having worked on a different position for the same project recently, we know the client needs a profile with a strong emphasis on the following:
- consultant must have relevant experience in the last years (in other words recent project must include implementation/rollout work, not too much support work);
- manufacturing/production industry background;
- very thorough Puchase to Pay knowledge
For a good client of ours, we are looking for a good SAP MM Consultant - Process lead Purchase to Pay (Procure to Pay) urgently.
Due to the international nature of this project and the emphasis on communication skills
for this project, it is vital to be:
- willing to travel for the majority of the project;
- willing to work no less than full-time;
- very proficient in English: we can only consider candidates who have handled similar projects in English, or fluent speakers.
Timing:
- Submission: ASAP;
- Start date: ASAP (last week of March, first week of April)
- Foreseen end date: May 2013 or later.
Project:
Our client, a large international integrator, is handling a large international rollout of a global template (US-based) for a customer in the automotive sector.
In total, there are 40+ locations where this template will need to be rolled out across Europe in light of this global transformation programme (UK, DE, BE, NL, PL, HU, IT, ). Therefore, we are looking for a good SAP MM consultant who must be willing travel a lot: although the "base" for this rollout is in Belgium, there will be up to 70% travelling involved. Experience in large international environments and teams is a must!
Job description:
This position requires a consultant with a broad SAP MM background, but in your day-to-day
work there will be no actual config or development involved: the job focuses on process
expertise: conducting and/or facilitating localization workshops, fit-gap analyses, data conversion, keeping in mind all specifics of each country and production site; interfacing with business and IT and
documenting the whole process. You must have the confidence to simultaneously be working
on 10+ facilities in several countries.
You will interact regularly with US teams, regional and travelling teams, and local on-site teams
The SAP MM consultant we are looking for must have the following skills/experience:
- Thorough knowledge of the SAP MM module; more specifically a good procurement knowledge
within SAP MM;
- Handled one (preferably several) international rollout(s) and/or implementations within
the MM module
- "Purchase to Pay";
