Description
A Government Department at Canberra seeks the services of SAP HR/Payroll Specialists to provide SAP HR PA/PD/PY configuration support in a project and business as usual (BAU) capacity.
The services will include and not be limited to:
- Developing appropriate solutions (design and configuration) within SAP HR module including Payroll and time evaluation;
- Preparing technical specifications;
- Providing configuration and other quality assurance tasks for project and BAU tasks;
- Developing, maintaining and unit testing system components;
- Developing new and updating existing system design documentation;
- Providing ongoing maintenance and support after go-live.
Mandatory/Essential Criteria:
- Extensive SAP HR/Payroll experience;
- Implementation experience on at least 3 full cycle SAP projects with the relevant modules;
- A minimum of 5-10 years SAP experience;
- Integration experience between multiple SAP modules;
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and design;
- Ability to deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality;
- Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios;
- Ability to work in a continually changing environment;
- Ability to work closely with colleagues and in a team environment;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills including the ability to articulate IT trends to management and staff;
- Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies;
- Demonstrated experience in training and knowledge transfer;
Desirable Criteria:
Experience working in large government organisations
This contract period is up to 30th June 2015 with further 12 months extension possibilities.
Australian Citizenship is required and a security clearance of Baseline is highly desirable.
