An excellent opportunity for a SAP MM Procure to Receive Process Expert to join a leading international end client on a minimum 6 to 12 month contract + long extensions. Start ASAP. Must be based in the UK or EU and happy to travel up to 40% within Europe.
The SAP MM PTP process expert with be responsible for managing PTP process governance, monitor performance and drive process optimisation activities. Ensure that standard process, systems, documentation, compliance are in place to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the business from Purchase requisition to Goods receipt.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and key functional contact for business partners in all matters concerning the P2P process, policy, external benchmarks, new tool implementation and approval of changes in existing systems. Work with cross-functional teams to collect and validate feedback on current process inefficiencies and support issue resolution, demonstrate and implement processes to improve operational efficiency, all with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Responsibilities:
- Process Standardisation
- Coordinate with the service delivery teams to standardise where appropriate, share learning and best practices, and ensure alignment with the end-to-end process objectives and initiatives
- Develop and Support P2P audits for all in-scope Business
- Process Improvement
- Assess aspects of P2P process performance and efficiency against market capabilities to identify improvement opportunities
- Using metrics, engage in a dialogue with business and service delivery stakeholders to discuss priorities and approach to process enhancements
- Increase Process automation via supporting local SMEs to identify RPA opportunities and assist with implementation of RPA solution
- Project Management & Support
- Leading workshops to analyse problem root-cause and propose/support/coordinate implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions across organization and with suppliers
- Documentation
- Identify gaps in process flows and create/update required process flow diagrams
- Contribute to Sharepoint content for PTP by update existing SOPs and create/update any missing guides
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years Solid experience in Procure-to-Pay business processes
- Experienced in relevant solution area (S4 HANA/SAP MM) and PTP tools
- Ability to understand impact of issue on business and identify quickly suitable solutions
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Business English both written and oral
