Position: SAP Production Planning (VC) Consultant- French
Contract Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension
Location: Eauze, Ussell, France
Language: French Language is Mandatory
Requirement Details:
- Need to active role in the full project life cycle, from build phase of the project to the final delivery of the resulting SAP Plan to Make Solution.
- Experience with SAP manufacturing industry implementations along with Variant configuration experience is required.
- Need to have strong knowledge in Variant Configuration experience. Need to have implementation experience in defining Super BOM and Super routings with object dependencies.
- Need to understand Characteristics based planning and integration with VC.
- Focus on business process re-engineering efforts and technology enablement. Able to conduct workshops best practices and demo sessions to the end users.
- Configure SAP PP Production Planning module to meet client business requirements, including connection points with MM, FI, EWM, Forecast and Replenishment and other modules.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices.
Skill and Experience Requirements:
- Must have strong experience in Production Planning (PP) module with VC in SAP.
- Should be local to France and proficiency in the French language is required.
- Should understand how PP interfaces with other modules such as SD, FICO, and MM.
- Is experienced with Master Data (Super BOM & Routing), MRP, Production Order Creation, Capacity Requirements Planning, and Production Execution.
- Has understanding of latest functionalities and features in S4 HANA 1605 and above
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- 5 to 7 years of SAP Functional experience in SAP PP.
- Should be local to France and proficiency in the French language is required.
- Mill Products experience Preferred. Door and Windows Products prior experience would be ideal.
- Extensive experience in the SAP PP and cross functional experience in MM/IM modules.
- Knowledge of and ability to debug ABAP is a major plus. (Techno-Functional).
- Extensive experience in the end to end supply chain and manufacturing process; including (but not limited to) Production Planning, Forecasting, Purchase to Pay, and Quality Management.
- Should be experienced in writing functional specs for VC object dependencies and also any interfaces between Legacy and SAP VC.
- Exposure to Advanced VC and PDR would be plus.
