SAP Program Manager
A SAP Program Manager is urgently required for an immediate start in a great location.
The SAP Program Manager will be responsible for the following:
Planning and progress monitoring
Creates and maintains the detailed master schedule for the relevant deployment entity (plant in Spain or Great-Britain), and ensures it is in line with the overall program milestones and organization and constraints
Ensures that detailed master schedule encompasses all necessary central and local work packages: solution implementation (SAP and Legacy system changes and decommissioning), testing, data migration, training, change management and cut-over
Works with central team leads to ensure that all critical activities (design, testing, data migration, cut-over) are properly planned and resourced from a local perspective
Tracks activities against the plan and measures progress, reports delays and proposes new path to meet the timelines.
Coordination with central program team and with local teams
Acts as the central coordination point between the central program management team and the business and IS teams in the to be deployed location (local teams)
Coordinates local activities - participation in design, testing, data migration amongst others - and ensures these are executed according to master schedule defined for local business actors
Coordinate with central and local project managers to ensure that all changes in Legacy systems are delivered as per master schedule agreed
Establishes change management plan for the deployed entity and coordinates the actions
Risk management and issue solving
Monitors and addresses local risks and issues and escalates where necessary the relevant ones to central program management.
Ensures that risk logs are maintained according to program organization, governance and processes defined
Reporting and methodology
Keeps key stakeholders in central program management team and local finance management team informed of status and related issues
Establish and communicates status reports and dashboards according to reporting processes defined by the central program management team, and proposes any change to these where necessary from a local perspective
The SAP Program Manager will have the following skills and experience -
- Overall 10 to 15 years of experience in major ERP deployment projects, good SAP background/knowledge is required
Solid program and project management (planning, progress tracking, resource management, risk management, organization)
Good experience in managing change in complex and international contexts
Ability to manage development projects from inception to successful implementation.
Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management
Fluent in English. For PM related to Spain Spanish is mandatory. Other language would be a plus
Analytical and detailed oriented, but able to adapt communication to the audience (operational level, manager level and senior executives level).
Contract: 6 - 12 months +
