JOB TITLE: SAP FICO - SRM Functional Lead
Position in Organization Chart: Expert level
- Objectives and key tasks
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to define the user requirements and develops best practice business solutions to fulfil the agreed requirements.
- Develops, configures and tests enhancements to SAP systems, based on customer requirements and according to solution designs.
- Performs frequently new and varied work that involves a high degree of complexity.
- Determines own practices and procedures and may contribute to the development of new concepts.
- Configures SAP SRM according to solution designs
- Writes documentation
- Organises, prepares and presents workshops (strong communication/presentation skills)
- Keeps current with latest technology
- In adherence to the client company's policies and while adapting to the business environment.
Profile
General skills:
- At least 6-10 years of experience and knowledge in implementing SAP SRM applications.
- A couple of full life cycle implementations in SAP SRM 5.0 and 7.0
- International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template.
- Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers.
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Ability to lead the whole track: blueprint workshop, writing functional specifications, customizing, organizing local workshops
- Ability to play gatekeeper role for regional template of SAP SRM
- Ability to talk to the business in business process terminology
- Strong decision making skills and ability to use discretion.
- Requires strong analytical skills and creativity.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Team player with high level of integrity
Technical/Functional expertise:
Expert knowledge of following functional SAP areas is essential:
- MDM 4/5
- SAP SRM 5.0 4/5
- SAP SRM 7.0 4/5
- MM (ECC6) 3/5
Knowledge of core SAP business modules including finance, accounting, materials management
